Submitting a CD Request in Track

This walk-thru is designed to provide a step-by-step guide for submitting a CD request inside of the portal:

  • When you first click on Closing Request, you will be met with the first Details page and will be prompted to fill in all standard closing information (closing date, vesting info, etc) as well as confirm that the loan parameters are correct. Once you fill this page out and save, you will be able to move on to Contacts:

  • In Contacts, you will fill out the needed Escrow information as well as provide the contact for who closing docs are being sent to.

  • Once the contact information has been entered, you will then move to the Documents tab where you will be able to verify if a required document is needed or has already been uploaded. This page is a live feed of the e-folder buckets in Encompass, so once a document is uploaded, it will update the status.

  • On the fees screen, you will be able to fill out what the section A and B fee amounts are, label if the fee was paid outside of closing, and if a fee is to be reimbursed to the broker.

    • An additional feature on this page: You will see some verbiage on the right-hand side explaining our Policy for Interval vs. 3rd Party Processing Fees. The Processing Fee Type dropdown will automatically update based on our established P&P and mark the available option for you in the drop down.

  • Once all tabs have been completed, you will be able to click on Request CD to finalize the request and send a notification to your Account Manager. On top of this, a history log will be listed for all users assigned to the file so they can see when and who sent in the CD request.

  • Once the button is pressed, an email is sent to the AM notifying them a CD has been requested and will task them to begin their review of the CD request before sending it over to be processed and disclosed.
